A Wicked Evening

A Wicked Evening

In January, the Broadway musical Wicked is coming to the Koger Center. This will be one of the biggest productions to come to Columbia, and the Hammond community has the unique opportunity to get tickets first. A block of tickets for the show on Thursday, January 23, at 7:30 PM has been set aside for members of the Hammond community.

An email was sent out to all Hammond families with a link to buy tickets, and more reminders will be sent leading up to the show. Tickets will be available through September 27 before they are available to the general public.

On Friday, January 24, the day after the performance, some of the actors will be visiting Hammond. From 10:00 AM to 12:15 PM, they will be in the Bank of America Theatre teaching three master classes on improv, dance, and musical theatre. The cast will be visiting the school as part of the Christopher Wells Endowment, an endowment that supports guest artists’ visits to the school.

“The incredible Broadway production and subsequent visits are an incredible opportunity that we have right at our own backdoor,” said Mr. Hillard.
